When this card is activated: Add 1 Fish monster with an effect that treats itself as a Tuner from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, at the end of the Damage Step, if your "White Aura" monster attacked: You can activate this effect; the attacking monster can make a second attack in a row. Once per turn, if a Level 8 or higher Fish Synchro Monster(s) is Special Summoned from your GY, even during the Damage Step: You can destroy all monsters your opponent controls. You can only activate 1 "White Reincarnation" per turn.
White Reincarnation — Power Evaluation
Final Score: 61 ± 8 · Confidence: Medium
- Intrinsic: 59 · Deck: 63 · Meta: provisional
- Primary role: Searcher/Tutor · Secondary: Board breaker
Why it scores here
White Reincarnation reliably converts into a Fish Tuner from the Deck on activation, which is a card-neutral search that keeps the line live. Its stronger effects are conditional: the double attack needs a White Aura attacker, and the destroy-all effect needs a Level 8+ Fish Synchro Monster Special Summoned from the GY. The 400-deck inclusion (about 2.6 copies average, 286 decks at 3 copies) confirms it is a consistent staple across several archetypes, but that frequency is not used to inflate the score, and the absence of combo and guide data keeps the combo axis at a moderate level.
Axis scores
| Axis | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | 75 | Present in all 400 sampled decks with 71.5% running 3 copies, and the card searches its own Fish Tuner route from the Deck to hand on activation (verified text, observed deck stats). |
| Combo & Conversion | 55 | The text-only route is a search plus a conditional double attack and a conditional board wipe, but no recorded boards exist to confirm how far it converts (inference from text; combos_evidence empty). |
| Resource Economy | 55 | Spending the Spell for a Tuner from the Deck is roughly card-neutral, with no GY refuel or repeated advantage in the text (verified text, inference). |
| Effect & Interaction | 65 | The conditional destroy-all effect is strong when live, but it needs a Level 8+ Fish Synchro in the GY and is once per turn, so it is situational interaction (verified text, inference). |
| Material Utility | 5 | It is a Spell Card with no monster body, so it cannot be used as material and scores near zero on this axis (verified card type). |
| Resilience & Flexibility | 45 | The search resolves on activation, but the card stays on the field as a Continuous Spell and is exposed to removal of face-up Spells, with only one copy-per-turn limit to help (verified text, inference). |
| Deck-Building Efficiency | 75 | A single Spell slot with no garnet or lock beyond the one-per-turn clause, and 3 copies are commonly run (verified text, observed deck stats). |
Calculation
Weight profile: 0.7 Searcher/Tutor + 0.3 Board breaker. Intrinsic ≈ 59, Deck ≈ 63, Meta = provisional. Modifiers: none. Final formula: 0.40*Intrinsic + 0.60*Deck
Strengths
- Searches a Fish Tuner from the Deck to hand on activation, keeping the line live
- Double-attack effect is available once per turn when a White Aura monster attacks
- Conditional destroy-all effect provides a board-breaking finish once a Level 8+ Fish Synchro is in the GY
- Consistently included at 3 copies across 30 archetypes and 400 decks
Weaknesses
- No combo data, so conversion is inferred from text only
- Both powerful effects are conditional on specific board states
- Continuous Spell stays face up and can be removed
- No monster body, so no material value
Counters / choke points
- Destruction or negation of face-up Continuous Spells (inference from card type)
- Opponent interaction that removes or disables the Fish Tuner route before activation (inference)
Best use
Searcher with a conditional board-breaker finish. Decks: White Aura, Ghoti. Suggested copies: 3.
Evidence & gaps
- Verified: Card text: searches a Fish monster with Tuner-treating effect from Deck to hand on activation; Card text: once per turn double attack at end of Damage Step if a White Aura monster attacked; Card text: once per turn destroy all opponent monsters if a Level 8+ Fish Synchro is Special Summoned from GY; Card text: only 1 White Reincarnation per turn; Card type is Spell Card (Continuous), with no monster body; 400 of 400 sampled decks run the card; 286 decks run 3 copies
- Observed: White Aura Whale co-occurs in 98.5% of decks and several Ghoti and Fish partners co-occur above 85%; Played across 30 distinct archetypes, with 79% of decks in gameplay type 7; Single usage_statistics row shows 66.7% inclusion in Abyss- at 2 typical copies
- Inferred: The search is card-neutral, so resource economy is about even; The destroy-all effect is situational because of its GY condition; Continuous Spell placement exposes the card to face-up Spell removal
- Data gaps: no combos supplied, so combo conversion is text-only inference no guides supplied no banlist token, so 3 copies (unlimited) assumed usage_statistics has one row (Abyss-), with no inclusion data for the White Aura or Ghoti homes no rulings supplied for the Tuner-treating search or Damage Step timing
